Returns & Exchanges Policy

Policy Overview

At ToxTests, we stand behind the quality of every product we offer. We understand that purchasing professional testing devices requires confidence, and our goal is to make the process as straightforward and low-risk as possible. This policy outlines exactly what to expect if you need to return or exchange an item.

Return & Exchange Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be in new, unused condition and in their original, unopened packaging. All components, accessories, and documentation must be included. We are unable to accept returns on items that have been opened, used, or returned with missing parts or incomplete packaging. There are no restocking fees for returned items.

Return Window

Returns and exchanges must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Requests made after this window may not be approved.

Return Shipping Responsibility

For returns initiated due to a change of mind or ordering error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. You may use the carrier of your choice, or we can provide a prepaid return label for your convenience, the cost of which will be deducted from your final refund.

If the return is due to a defective product or an error on our end, we will cover all return shipping costs by providing a prepaid shipping label via email.

How to Start a Return or Exchange (RMA Process)

To begin a return or exchange, please contact our support team at support@toxtests.com. Include your order number and a brief description of the request.

Return Address: Because we ship from multiple warehouse locations, return addresses vary depending on the specific item purchased. Please do not mail returns to our corporate mailing address. Once your request is approved, we will provide you with an RMA number and the correct warehouse return address for your shipment. Items should not be sent back without this prior authorization, as this may delay or prevent your refund from being processed.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. This applies to both freight shipments and small parcel carriers such as UPS or FedEx. We may request photos or additional details to help resolve the issue quickly. Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs.

Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund any time before they have shipped. Once an order has been processed and shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation and will fall under our standard return policy.

Refund Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and will include the original shipping cost.

Our Error vs. Customer-Initiated Returns

If a return is the result of our mistake—such as receiving the wrong item or a defective product—we take full responsibility, including all shipping costs. For customer-initiated returns (such as ordering the wrong item or no longer needing the product), the customer is responsible for return shipping.

Exchanges Process

If you need a different item, we’re happy to help facilitate an exchange. Customers are responsible for both returning the original item and covering the cost of shipping the replacement item. Once the returned product is received and approved, the exchange will be processed promptly.
